but I was thinking to myself last night...why isn't there any natural black hair salons? Hairdressers who just specialise in natural hair care, because when I go to the hair dressers...which I really hate..I am scared all the time...because they never know what they are doing...never...you are the hairdresser you should be advising me..instead your asking me questions about what you should do...I think it is lack of knowledge...but some would say why don't you research and find out for yourself...and yes I do that..but when I want to trim off my dead ends..I don't want to go to the hairdressers in fear that I might come out bald..I just want someone who knows what they are doing..
When I was younger I used to collect, hype hair , black beauty, black hairstyles and treads magazines...and all I saw was weave, extenstions, wigs..it was like...where am I in this magazine? I can't see myself..I can't..and it's upsetting...people say to me I can't believe you've been natural all your life...erm...well sorry to disappoint you..but I like what I have..
